Description Danielle Madeley 2012-01-25 03:32:52 UTC
Empathy windows run in different processes. The Alt-Tab window switcher groups all Empathy windows together. Using the arrow keys or the mouse I can navigate between Empathy windows.

If I use Switch Windows of an Application I can switch between Empathy windows, e.g. between chat and roster, as expected.

If I use Switch Windows of an Application directly, I cannot switch between Empathy windows. The black box will remain stuck on windows that are part of the same process, e.g. different empathy-chat windows.

I have observed the same bug with Evince running as separate processes.

To clarify - what this bug is about is the shortcut called:

"Switch Windows of an Application directly"

That is Alt-Escape - cycle-group. (At least I was confused because I thought it was about directly using "Switch Windows of an Application".

This was fixed in 3.22.0.
