Description François Tissandier 2011-12-27 13:56:27 UTC
I'm listening to songs in random mode. I have selected the "Now Playing" display. But I just cannot rate the song. Or if it's possible, I didn't find the option. Apparently, I need to display the list of songs to be able to rate a song, and if i'm using this random mode, the current song is not highlighted, so I have to find it to rate it. Too much work, so I just don't rate songs anymore. It should be much easier to rate a song, probably in the header, next to the song title.

Thank you for your bug report.

You should be able to rate the current track from the Edit menu.
But if you're using Unity, the "Rating" option is not displayed in the menu that is on the top of the screen, because it is not supported by the Unity global menu.

Bug #574153 is about adding the rating widget in the Now Playing display.

Bug #526994 is about adding the rating widget next to the slider and the track info, so I'm marking this as a duplicate.
