Description Samuel Thibault 2011-06-20 13:11:59 UTC
Hello,

Some time ago, gucharmap started sorting the unicode block view by
script name instead of block number. This makes looking for specific
characters quite tedious.

For instance, if you are given U+1800 without any script name
indication, it's very difficult to reach it at the moment: one has
to select "All", and scroll down by hand with arrows, since the side
scroller is way too coarse-grain since it covers _all_ unicode.

Sorting the blocks by block number makes it much easier: one can
try a few blocks and quickly reach the desired block containing the
character, and then easily scroll within it.

Samuel
