Description Will Thompson 2011-05-28 13:36:46 UTC
A calendar I am subscribed to occasionally has events with extremely long names. The shell's calendar bubble doesn't ellipsise or otherwise truncate event names at some reasonable point, so the bubble is wider than my screen. Interestingly it seems to be off-centre, with the right edge being nicely offset from the right-hand-side of my screen and the left edge pushed off the side: http://willthompson.co.uk/misc/calendar.png

(I'm using Debian's gnome-shell 3.0.1-1 package from experimental.)

Right. The original calendar CSS used max-width to prevent this, but that caused way too much truncation under some translations, so it was removed, and we haven't yet re-fixed it.
