GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 650464
No screen lock on suspend
Last modified: 2011-06-10 23:23:09 UTC
Package: gnome-power-manager 3.0 Even though the default schema of g-p-m is to lock the screen, it still failed to do so on suspend. I found g-p-m still uses gconf to query "lock_enabled" for gnome-screensaver, but g-s already moved to gsettings, so the query always fails.
Created attachment 188020 [details] [review] query g-s with gsettings I made a patch for g-p-m to query g-s settings rightly, and it works for me.

Richard, this is kind of a bad bug that we should land soon, yea?
Pushed to gnome-3-0 and master, many thanks Gary.
