Description Marius Kruger 2011-05-09 22:16:15 UTC
I'm not sure if this is a bug, by design or a new feature request.

I managed to get Empathy to start after login and then it automatically connects, but the status message that I set previously gets reset.
I had some hard crashes (thus Empathy wasn't shut down cleanly) recently so this may be related to that.

(Actual version is 2.34 on ubuntu 11.04)

That's by design. Bug #569473 is about allowing user choosing the defautl status. Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
