Description Karan1337 2011-04-10 07:59:14 UTC
It was recently noticed that when an external device is automatically mounted by ubuntu, say for example my USB thumb drive, the icon placed by the file manager overlapped with an icon currently on the desktop.

An example of such a bug is reflected in the attached zip file containing 4 screenshots.

Initial desktop.png- Shows the initial placing of the icons on the desktop. [Notice the Qt Creator icon]

Overlapping.png- The Kingston icon (the USB drive) appears over the Qt Creator icon

Subsequent icons 1 and 2.png- These two screenshots depict that other icons or files, [as in this case, png images] occupy their places correctly.
