Description Javier Moreno 2011-01-13 19:53:26 UTC
When I open empathy, it displays only online contacts, with most groups collapsed. When I click the arrow to expand any of the groups, it expands all groups displaying all contacts, online or offline. "View->Offline contacts" is unchecked. If I check and uncheck this option it just ignores me.

This happens when I use space bar to collapse groups.

I believe that this has the same cause as bug 632787: when you hit space, you're actually searching for contacts with spaces in their names, not toggling the currently-selected group (or activating the currently-selected contact).

Thus, resolving as a duplicate of that bug.
