Description Manfred Usselmann 2010-12-09 20:09:17 UTC
The dialog "Online Banking Connection Window" displays progress and log information during online banking actions. It contains a check button "Close when finished" which controls if the window is closed when the transfer has finished. Unfortunately this check button is not reachable in many cases because message windows in the foreground have focus and the connection window closes at the end of the online action without giving the user a chance to uncheck the 'Close when finished' check box. This also means that the log information is lost and the user can't verify if the online action was indeed successful or determine the cause of possible errors etc.

A fix for this is currently under development.

Patch which adds on option to reopen the online banking log window

This patch adds a toggle action to the online banking menu, which allows to open and close the online banking log window. In addition it adds an option to the online banking preferences to keep the log window open after the transfer has finished.

I've recreated the patch against the latest rev. 20071 and removed the problematic hunks. I anyhow didn't change those lines. Don't know why they have been added to the patch.

Oh, right, I didn't check the actual content of the rejected hunks (I was in a hurry last night). I'll commit within the next days again.

r20078, thanks a lot! I already used this successfully to look up an error message with Deutsche Bank...
