Description Paul Sladen 2010-12-02 11:56:44 UTC
Forwarded per recommendation of Sandy: https://launchpad.net/bugs/683577

On first run, Tomboy pops up two menus, a main one and one called "Start Here" containing instructions.

Neither of these actually allow the user to start writing a note and instead direct the user to do a third action (click in the GNOME Panel (nb. GNOME bug ##559723) and hit "Create New Note").

Ideally Tomboy should just pop up with a single blank open window, cursor focused and immediately ready to type. If I need to read instructions to use Tomboy (however well intended) then something is probably broken.
