When you join a MUC, even if your alias/nickname is set, you will probably appear in the room with your full JID.

Not critical but a bit annoying.

Are you sure these contacts actually have an alias (ie, they're not hiting bug #632424)?

If yes, could you please attach (or send me in private if that's too sensitive) gabble logs and dbus-monitor when joining such channel (with a list of contacts not having their alias displayed).
