Start a new project, import a clip, drag it to the timeline, notice you can drag it to the 2nd band (or 3rd, or 4th, etc). See the attached screenshot.

This is very confusing for first time users because it looks very awkward! At least that's how it looked to me when I used PiTiVi for the first time, and one of the reasons for trying ..another video editor.

When the user drags a clip to the timeline, let's allow the creation of a single new band, either:
- between two already existing bands, or
- exactly after the last band, or
- exactly where the top band should be, if there is no band yet (when the first clip is added to the timeline).
