Description Andrew Hawkins 2010-10-29 13:43:35 UTC
When I launch Banshee from the Ubuntu sound menu, radio stations will not work. If I launch it from the Ubuntu main menu, however, they will work with out any problems.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure the 'Sound Menu integration for Banshee' extension is installed and activated.
2. Click on the sound icon in the Ubuntu indicator applet and select Banshee.
3. Click the 'Internet Radio' in the sidebar.
4. Double-click any listed radio stations, they will not play.
5. Close out of Banshee by clicking "Quit" from the "Media" menu.
6. Relaunch Banshee from the Ubuntu main menu, Applications -> Sound & Video -> Banshee Media Player
7. Repeat steps 3 and 4, the radio stations will play this time.

I'm not sure how the Sound Menu integration works, but I would guess that it's similar to the old Music-Applet, which causes the same problem in Banshee. I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of Bug 486543. Thanks for taking the time to report it, and be sure to report any other issues that you find.
