My PodcastItems Table of .confiig/banshee-1/banshee.db have 34761 items and banshee is very very very slow to display the treeview of podcast items.

I propose to add an option to auto remove old poscast items when isread=1 and it does not dowload.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Bug #553203 is about automatically deleting old podcast episodes.
You might also be interested in bug #601305 and bug #631440, which are about the performance issue when the list of podcasts episodes is long.
