Description Lars Wirzenius 2010-08-26 07:23:36 UTC
It would be cool to have a way to undo sending an e-mail in Evolution.

Justification: control-backspace deletes a word, control-enter sends, and it is way too easy to cause a half-finished e-mail to be sent when trying to delete the embarrassing half-written flame.

Being able to undo would save me from having to flee the country all the time.

The way to implement this would be to add an optional delay for sending e-mails. For example, the delay might be a minute, during which time one could remove the mail from the queue of unsent e-mails. There could be a popup menu item saying "undo send", which would move the e-mail back into the drafts folder.

It seems that gmail can do this.
