Orca should not present changes in the active descendant for unfocused widgets in OOo

Dear Developers, When I read Full Circle news hungarian translated document with Openoffice.org Writer, Orca sometime spokening interesting informations: 1. When the cursor have the first line, and press down arrow, Orca spokening two time the blank line text (üres in hungarian translation). 2. For example, if the cursor landing the "előszó" title line (I think this text is heading style), Orca spokening automaticaly the font size. For example, if I press this line the Orca+f key combination, Orca does'nt spokening character attributes. I doed a debug.out file. I attached the debug.out file, and the original document. Attila

Attila, I cannot reproduce the speaking of the formatting information. Can you still reproduce that? Also, the double-speaking of items sounds like bug 619101 which is now fixed. Therefore an update on where things are with this bug would be awesome. Thanks!
Hy Joanie, Of course I look now what changed with this related bug: The following problem is already fixed in Git master with another duplicate caret related bug with fine: "1. When the cursor have the first line, and press down arrow, Orca spokening two time the blank line text (üres in hungarian translation)." The second problem is not fixed yet, I will be send a new debug.out file with possible shows why happening the problem. When I jumps now the "előszó" title with the attached .odt file, Orca is spokened automaticaly the font size, but if I would like look the character attributes with Capslock+f key combination, Orca is not spokened the character attributes. Created attachment 161910 [details] This debug.out based on latest Orca git master version. Joanie, when I maked this new debug.out file, I doed following steps to reproduce the second issue: I only press down arrow keys with the already opened attached .odt document. When the caret jumps to "előszó" title text, Orca is spokened automaticaly the font size after the text spokening. After this problem is happened, I press one down arrow key and test works right the character attribute spokening or not. This function is working right with blank line. I press up arrow key, and wayt Orca spokening the "előszó" title and font size. When the output spokening is done, I tryed press the Capslock+f key combination to hear the character attributes. With this command is not workint this situation, Orca is silent. I very hope helps you this new actualized debug.out file. Attila

Aha. I can only reproduce the problem when I first open your test case. Regardless, what I'm seeing matches your debug.out. Fix on its way.

Joanie, wthe fix is works perfect with latest pulled git master Orca version with my prewious tested document (issue33_hu.odt file). Orca now correct spokening the attributes with my test cases always. Thank you the fix. Possible commit this fix with 2.30.2 mainteance release in future? Feel free to change this bug status with resolved if not need do any work with this bug. Attila
