Description Paul Lange 2010-03-16 13:20:33 UTC
Today I updated to Banshee 1.5.5. On problem I'm seeing is that the user interface doesn't show song changes.

This means that the notification bubble when I hover over the tray icon as well as the song information in Banshees UI show the same song all the time. The only possibility for me to change that is to press forward/backward. When songs change automatically the last song I pressed forward/backward to reach it is displayed all the time.

Sounds like an issue probably caused by the playbin2/gapless changes. Do you have Gapless playback enabled in your Prefs?
Comment 2 Paul Lange 2010-03-16 21:59:07 UTC
It's exactly as you say.

The behavior I described above is what happens with enabled gapless playback. If I disable the option everything works fine.

Hey Paul, we fixed some gapless bugs in 2.6.2, can you test with this version to see if this bug is gone or still present?

Thanks
