GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 577202
crash on export
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:20:08 UTC
under windows, french version of gnucash, A crash occurs when doing : "Fichier -> exporter -> exporter le plan comptable en QSF" (in english : "File -> export -> export ... in QSF") Also, there is no clear indication in the documentation on how to close the "great book" (in french : "grand livre") for a working year, and start with a fresh file for the following year. I it done the way I tried, using the "File -> export -> export data in QSF" to export data, and then importing it ? Gnucash looks good, I would like to use it in order to manage a building shared by several people. Thanks
I've confirmed. The stack isn't particularly helpful: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Note: this is from svn trunk r18054:18056M, so it doesn't necessarily match the original problem.
I got the same problem when exporting my accounts to QSF. In my case the problem was that the mouseover action on the calendar triggered the error. When using just keyboard input the QSF export function appears to work fine. The next problem however is that the actual produced export consists of 0 bytes... Hope this helps. Jasper
