GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 573059
Not able to pair headset Genius BT-02N
Last modified: 2009-02-25 16:15:20 UTC
Please describe the problem: There is no dialog window for entering PIN that is predefined by the manufacturer. Wizard finds the device and tries automatically 0000 PIN only (that is wrong), after it exits. Steps to reproduce: Try to pair the device Actual results: Wizard is finding device (shows "BT stereo headset"), than tries to apply PIN 0000 for pairing, than exits. Expected results: Some window to enter predefined PIN given by the manufacturer in the manual ("1234"). Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: hcitool scan 00:12:A1:C0:02:75 BT Stereo Headset hcitool inq 00:12:A1:C0:02:75 00:12:A1:C0:02:75 clock offset: 0x2471 class: 0x240404 Please check if this can be fixed by solving this bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=570457
