Did you remember to restart after installing gtk-sharp? What version of Windows?
Comment 2 Gilad 2009-02-17 15:50:16 UTC
Yes, Did a restart.
Windows XP SP2.
Also happened on another computer with the same results.
FIY the previous version of tomboy worked for a while on my computer and then
suddenly stopped, giving the same error.
I tried uninstalling gtk# and tomboy and reinstalling a thousand times but nothing worked.

Comment 3 Sandy Armstrong 2009-03-01 17:39:47 UTC
Do you have Pidgin or any other gtk+ apps installed?
Comment 4 Gilad 2009-03-02 07:09:01 UTC
I had gtk+ it on my system (for pidgin), uninstalled it, still crashes...
Comment 5 Sandy Armstrong 2009-03-02 22:55:41 UTC
You might need to clean up your PATH environment variable from having multiple versions of GTK+ installed. Not really sure what's going on, and sadly having gtk# installed alongside gtk+ apps is known to be troublesome at this time (the various installer guys are trying to make this problem go away, though).

Tomboy ran fine after I installed it the first time on a Windows XP machine. I rebooted and Tomboy crashes on startup.

Marking as a dupe of bug #558314, which I'm working on now.
