GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 569805
NetworkManager show duplicates of NICs
Last modified: 2009-02-03 11:31:16 UTC
I have two NICs on this machine. One GigE, one WLAN. Networkmanager shows each of those three times - i now see six NICs. Screenshots illustration the issue: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/21799705/screen1.png http://launchpadlibrarian.net/21799635/screen2.png This is on Ubuntu Intrepid, Network-Manager-Applet 0.7.0. Other reports (that makes three independent ones): http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1045205 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/286500/
gnome-device-manager also display the dupes: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/21800440/gnome-device-manager.png So... The bug is in HAL?
Confirmed that the bug is not in gnome (it's probably dkms). Sorry for all the spam!
