Description colin_bernet 2008-12-10 11:57:22 UTC
Hello,

When creating a task, the task is not displayed on the calendar view. This is maybe more a feature request than a bug report, though

Thanks a lot for this nice tool!
Colin

That's probably not even a bug - make sure that the tasklist you've created the new task in is enabled in the task component window.
Does that fix your issue?
Comment 2 colin_bernet 2008-12-12 12:51:02 UTC
I'm not sure what you mean, because I don't know the definitions of "tasklist" and "task component window".
But what I can say is that on the left side of the task window, there is a box with:

On this computer
  Personal x

Personal is checked, and the tasks show up in the task box on the right side of the main window, but not on the calendar.
If I uncheck Personal, the tasks disappear from the task box.

So the problem remains.

and i'm not sure what you mean by "main window". :-)

Hello :)

What I call the main window is the window that opens when I start evolution, and click on "calendars" on the bottom left side. Sorry for being unclear. If you want, I could provide you with a series of snapshots, just tell me.

Do you manage to get your tasks displayed on the calendar?
If you do, could you please tell me how?
This is quite difficult for me to manage my tasks without this feature.

cheers, and thanks,

Colin

Hmm... so is this a duplicate of bug 222397?
Comment 6 André Klapper 2009-06-07 18:11:45 UTC
No response -> assuming it's a dup.
