For some reason you can not delete meetings or appointments in list view (Delete icon in toolbar is grayed, Edit > Delete menu item too).

Other information:
To make matters worse: you can actually make the Delete icon and the Edit < Delete menu item sensitive by:
1) focusing on a calendar in the sidebar (by clicking)
2) shift focus to another calendar in the sidebar (by clicking again)

Now the Delete icon and menu item are sensitive but (as far as I can tell) useless.

No patch. Haven't even looked at the code.

if you right click on an event, then 'delete' option is enabled.
