GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 542722
prepare SKR04 for EÜR (cash based accounting)
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:07:30 UTC
now that we are close to being able to use SKR04 for UStVa (bug 542606 being the last major known hurdle), we need to set our sight on having a way to get the numbers for EÜR out of gnucash.
A sample of an EÜR CoA to start with is provided in https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-de/2008-April/005908.html. In case the txf-files - txf-de_DE.scm - txf-help-de_DE.scm are up to date (i.e. they consistently provide the information of all fields in the current German VAT declaration form (German: UStVA-Formular)), the association of accounts and VAT fields can be accomplished in the window Edit > Tax Options. It would be great if all this work could be performed in order to ship an EÜR CoA with one of the next releases of GnuCash. Till bug 542606 is resolved, see c.13 in bug 432143 for a workaround.
OMG! Please go and get some sleep and stop to propose these silly hacks ;-) (In reply to comment #1) > A sample of an EÜR CoA to start with is provided in > https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-de/2008-April/005908.html. That is a nice CoA, but it does not follow any kind of standard. I thought we had agreed it should not be promoted as a solution. > In case the txf-files [...] > are up to date They are, ss far as UstVa is concerned. EÜR will require a complete new and parallel implementation. This is my reminder to work on that. > association of accounts and VAT fields can be accomplished in the window Edit > Tax Options. This bug is about EÜR. And the goal of course is to have all the tax relation information already defined in the SKR, so the user does not have to visit that window. > It would be great if all this work could be performed in order to ship an EÜR > CoA with one of the next releases of GnuCash. No, that is going to take some time. > Till bug 542606 is resolved, see c.13 in bug 432143 for a workaround. Please stop promoting that hack. It is bad and furthermore has nothing to do with the task as defined in this bug.
(In reply to comment #0) > we need to set our sight on having a way to get the numbers for EÜR > out of gnucash. previous discussion wrt supporting both UstVa and EÜR reports at the same time is documented at http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.gnome.apps.gnucash.german/5066/focus=5073 There have been no changes since then
To the reporters: Is this still an issue, or can this bug be closed? If it is: Isn't it rather and enhancement request instead of a bug?
Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide the information asked for. Thanks!
As Rolf wrote in comment #3: There have been no changes since then Carsten, Geert: FYI, if you click on dependency tree below you will see a bunch of bugs which should be resolved until we can say "GnuCash does not only conform with US GAAP, but also with IAS/IFRS (and european rules)"
... for business users.
