Description Peter Robinson 2008-06-03 12:12:53 UTC
It would be cool to move Planner to the new GtkPrint api. I can't see any other bugs for the tracking of this or it mentioned on the planner page on the gnome wiki.
Comment 1 Maurice van der Pot 2008-06-03 18:36:44 UTC
I'm working on that (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/planner-dev-list/2008-May/msg00005.html)

I'm hoping it will fix many of the other printing bugs.

The two things I still need to do are:
1) figure out is how to get the proper width from a pango_layout (because I get something that seems to be half as wide as it should be)
2) see if it works on Windows
Comment 2 Peter Robinson 2008-06-03 22:23:54 UTC
Excellent news.
Comment 3 Massimo Franco 2008-07-08 21:34:22 UTC
Completing this migration would probably resolve bug 320483
Comment 4 Stéphane Démurget 2009-04-23 09:25:56 UTC
The 0.14.4 version released last week is featuring this gtk-print port and there is no more libgnomeprint dependency. Can it be closed?
Comment 5 Peter Robinson 2009-04-23 09:27:27 UTC
Absolutely.

Fixed.
Comment 6 Frederic Peters 2009-05-02 12:01:51 UTC
src/planner-usage-print.c still uses libgnomeprint, but looks unused, it could certainly be removed from the repository.
