Description fmouse 2001-04-25 22:31:43 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: major
Version: 1.4
Synopsis: Dissapearing Panel Icons
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
If I add a "Launcher from menu" to a panel it remains on the panel only until I log out. The next time I log in, it's gone. If I add a Launcher to the same panel and fill in the information manually, selecting the proper icon, filling in the executable, etc., it persists. I can duplicate the information from the "Launcher from menu" dialog in the manually entered panel and it makes no difference. If it comes from the menu system, it won't stay.

Is this with plain gnome or with ximian 1.4? I'm thinking it
has something to do with the ximian add on patches.
