GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 520985
include unvisited and visited link colours in colour themes
Last modified: 2008-03-08 10:28:28 UTC
As many GTK programs display links, I think it would improve the usability of the whole desktop if it was possible to change the colour of them. The actual problem I am facing is that blue links are almost unreadable with my colour theme (it's mostly dark grey). Other information:
Agree, blue links with dark themes are very hard to read, but as far as I know link colour is already themeable, at least in GtkLinkButton[1] (refer to set_link_color function). [1] - http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gtk%2B/trunk/gtk/gtklinkbutton.c?view=markup
Right. Please complain to your friendly theme designer.
For sake of the argument, lets say that I could complain to my friendly theme designer. But then, what's Customise Theme in Appearance Preferences for? I really think that link colours should be editable from there. Reopening.
