Description Brian J. Murrell 2008-01-11 19:32:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Since upgrading to the latest Ubuntu Hardy (development version) this morning my multimedia keys are not working to adjust volume nor start/pause/next/prev, etc. in rhythmbox.

Steps to reproduce:
Hardware dependent. Try to use multimedia keys.

Actual results:
nothing.

Expected results:
rhythmbox responds as expected. volume control responds as expected.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
They keys are being pushed up by X. I can use "ev" to see the events from X. I can also use the gnome-keybindings-properties tools to assign the mm keys to actions. It seems they are just not being pushed out from gnome.
