Description Martin Ejdestig 2007-11-18 16:04:40 UTC
(This might be a GTK+ bug, I'm not sure.)

Changing position with the position slider, moving the mouse pointer away from the slider region (downwards or upwards) and letting go of the mouse button before Totem has caught up with the position changing will get you stuck in "change position mode". That is, you can still change the position of the slider without holding down lmb.

It's like the slider widget misses the "release lmb" event...

Which versions of Totem and GTK+ are you using?
Comment 2 Martin Ejdestig 2007-11-18 17:59:11 UTC
I'm running Gutsy, so 2.20.0 and GTK+ 2.12.

The _actual_ GTK+ version please.

Anyway, please upgrade to Totem 2.20.1 (bug #477529), and make sure you have GTK+ 2.12.1 (bug #478371).

.0.

Anyway, I won't bother testing until it's updated and looks like that won't be before hardy. Oh well.

(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopTeam/WeeklyTODO says
"totem2.20.1 update martinp23 Needs gtk 2.12.1 (probably best for hardy)")
