GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 474967
Can't reload podcasts
Last modified: 2018-05-24 12:51:21 UTC
Sometimes a podcast episode does does not download completely, but Rhythmbox does not recognize this. There should be a way to tell the program to re-try a download, even if the program thinks that it actually worked. Other information:
Seams to be the same as Bug 395733 – "Podcast download mechanism isn't robust enough and often fails" ??? The download start but very often stops after download of a few seconds or minutes. RB consider the download completed. To try again it's necessary to erase the whole list and start again. I got a bad satellite connection (500 to 1000ms ping). I mostly try podcast from radiofrance (link beside) but trying others ones. Exemple I've try to download http://www.radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast/10212-29.11.2007-ITEMA_20098974-0.mp3 from http://radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast/rss_10212.xml Rhythmbox 0.11.2
Agree, this is a duplicate with bug #395733 – "Podcast download mechanism isn't robust enough and often fails".
