GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 442395
hide "On this Computer: Inbox/Drafts/Junk/Sent" if not used
Last modified: 2012-02-09 11:32:54 UTC
Hi, For folks who work on a mailserver view (like Exchange connection), these folders are of no use. (esp. since I setup Drafts and Sent to the equivalent Exchange folders) However, there objects cannot get disabled in the view, and take up screen real estate. Would be nice to get it hidden in some manner - if they are not required by the user.
You can collapse the "On This Computer" folder tree. Are you looking for more?
The Outbox folder under On This Computer serves as a staging area for outgoing mail, and the Drafts and Sent folders under On The Computer serve as fallback locations in case the remote server can't be reached.

In Evolution 3.4 the "On this Computer" node can be hidden, see bug 667833. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 667833 ***
