I think it would be a nice idea if there was some indication which scripts/blocks are fully covered/partially covered/not covered by the current font. One idea might be to show a small icon indicating this in the script/block list.

Or colorize the block/script list.  Maybe linearly between active and inactive style colors...

Note that fontconfig tells us what languages a font covers, but other than that it's all up to gucharmap to find coverage.
