GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 43222
Desktop "home" icon is partially hidden under GNOME Menu panel
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper: The "user's home" icon is partially hidden under the GNOME menu panel at the top of the screen. Nautilus should play nicely with other GNOME components and should be able to work around panels. * REPRODUCIBLE: Always * STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Run a GNOME "Menu Panel". Start nautilus --start-desktop. The topmost "user's home" flower icon will be partially hidden by the menu panel. * ACTUAL RESULTS: The icon was partially hidden. * EXPECTED RESULTS: Nautilus should have placed the icon further down on the screen - nautilus should not place icons under GNOME panels. I am using Debian potato, with the Helixcode debs of GNOME, and CVS nautilus. ------- Additional Comments From linuxfan@ionet.net 2000-09-21 08:41:30 ---- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 41447 *** ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2000-10-16 19:37:58 ---- Batch-assigning QA ownership of remaining bugs to eli@eazel.com ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2001-02-09 11:28:37 ---- Duane is now the proud owner for Desktop QA. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:40 ------- The original reporter (peter@hawkins.emu.id.au) of this bug does not have an account here.
