GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 42934
Icon on left of location bar to indicate source of location
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Date Time Type Category Subject ---- ---- ---- -------- ------- 08:18:2000 16:52:29 Feature Reques Appearance icon representing location IP: 208.2.106.117 Email: tmgeorgo@io.com Perhaps you could put a small icon to the left of the location line that would represent your present location. For example, if I was looking at a file on a CD it would have a small CD, a hard disk would have a small computer or disk image, and a file out on the internet would have a small globe. YOu could probably use the icons already present in GNOME (like the CD and mounted disk images on the desktop just by shrinking them a bit. You may like, you may not. Just a thought. ------- Additional Comments From andy@eazel.com 2000-09-11 11:00:30 ---- Potential sources are web site, ftp site, local hard drive, local CD-ROM, etc. I'm changing the title to make this clearer, and deferring to post 1.0 ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2000-10-16 19:44:36 ---- Batch-assigning QA ownership of remaining bugs to eli@eazel.com ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:41 ------- The original reporter (victor@eazel.com) of this bug does not have an account here.
