GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 411766
Improvements on how it behaves
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:27:45 UTC
1. There should be a way to navigate between the multiple tabs within the main window using the keyboard. For ex. CTRL-TAB 2. When entering a new transaction that has been entered in the past and tabbing to the amount field, it doesn't always select the entire amount. It forces you to tab to the next field and back to that field and only then it selects it. That way you can overwrite instead of inserting. 3. Using tabs, when moving to a new tab the cursor is not responsive using the keyboard. You have to use the mouse to put focus on the date field. In fact none of the navigation keys work, up, down, left, right arrow, tab key and so forth. 4. You should be able to choose the font and the size of the font. 5. In the 1.8 release you could delete a single line of a transaction by right cliking on it and choosing delete. You can't do that anymore. It would be nice to have that feature. I know you can erase it now and accomplish the same thing with the keyboard. Other information:
Obviously, I've broken this out into the original bugs it should have been filed as, modulo... (In reply to comment #0) > 4. You should be able to choose the font and the size of the font. WONTFIX; we use the gnome system font, as we should. > 5. In the 1.8 release you could delete a single line of a transaction by right > cliking on it and choosing delete. You can't do that anymore.
