Comment 1 Andreas Köhler 2007-02-23 23:38:22 UTC
What is printed if you start `gnucash' from the terminal?
Comment 2 Christian Stimming 2007-02-26 14:24:50 UTC
This seems to be a duplicate of bug#389740 bug#394783 bug#397137 ; also, some problems have been fixed with 2.0.3 so can you please upgrade? Ideally we
would need the "scheme back trace", just as it is shown in bug#378274. However,
in the first two bugs I've mentioned, there is no scheme backtrace but only the
message "throw from within critical section.", which is bad but we have to live
with that.

For clarification: You have guile-1.8.0, right? Also, could you test the
example files of bug#389740 bug#394783 to see whether your crash is identical
to them? Also, does your QIF file contain Umlauts, and if yes, could you try to
find out the encoding of them (see bug#394783)? Ideally we would also need an
example QIF file from you, but I guess those from the other bug reports are
already sufficient.
