GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 407742
Something "fun" should happen when a game is won
Last modified: 2012-01-31 23:19:36 UTC
Fireworks, bouncing cards, a happy penguin dancing.... something other than "You won. New Game?"
I agree, you can see my complaint at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-games/+bug/93507
Perhaps something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1LUg4o2DIw or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbeRNiRhwRA Break it up into several short clips and play a random one after a game is won.
I hate to be arguing against FUN, but I never really thought this belonged in a solitaire game. Sure, Windows Solitaire does it. But I think that anything more involved than the smiley face in Mines wearing sunglasses after a game is won (which I think is just right, if someone can come up with something at about that level) would be too..intrusive. It gets in the way of the cards, which for some reason I want to see. I don't know, I just don't think it fits.
