Future enhancement.
i think this is won't fix. since views that can print tend to add a print item to the file menu. It would look really bad just having a generic print button that was always disabled.
dave: any idea how windows does this for embedding?

This is one of the oldest Nautilus bug. Is this really worth providing? It's already possible to either copy/paster or drag and drop a list of files to get a list of URI or paths in a document or an email. It's possible to create a screenshot using gnome-screenshot and a nicely sized compact view as a fallback. Printing the view w/o the frame limitation but only the paper ones seems doable but arguably useful and not very green :) What do you think?

Agreed. Closing this won't fix.
