Please describe the problem:
Totem stops responding when playing a movie with .sub file inside it's dir. I can only assume Totem tries to play the subtitles.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a movie with a .sub .idx file with the same name as the movie
2. Start the movie.
3. Totem stops responding.


Actual results:
Totem stops responding

Expected results:
Play the movie with subtitles

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
tested over time with 2 movies and the previous totem that came with GNOME 2.14 had the same issue.
