When the monthly calendar is displayed, and I right-click on a day, the choice list shows both "New Appointment" and "New All-Day Event".  However, if I choose "New Appointment", the appointment dialog comes up with "All-Day Event" preselected.  Shouldn't this be the case only if I choose "New All-Day Event" ?
