Please describe the problem:
Xchat-gnome doesn't update transparent bg when window moved

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set transparent background
2. Move window



Actual results:
Transparent text area still shows the desktop behind the old location

Expected results:
Transparent text area shows the desktop behind the new location

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Xchat-gtk is not affected.

Also possibly related: the background is not set on initial login (race condition with nautilus?), nor is it updated when the background is changed via nautilus.

Does xchat-gtk update the background when it's changed in nautilus?
