Ctrl-n in browsing mode should open new window displaying the very same directory as the parent window shows (just like in MacOS X), not Home.

Agreed. It is easy to get to the home directory from anywhere - just hit Control+Home or click on the Home button. But it is harder to get to the specific directory where you were.

Epiphany also opens about:blank when opening a new window. CCing usability team.

Simply Ctrl-click on your current location in the pathbar and a new window will pop up at the same location.
Comment 6 Lapo Calamandrei 2016-11-26 14:21:37 UTC
