Description tom quas 2006-05-10 07:09:16 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable
Package: Evolution
Severity: major
Version: GNOME2.14.1 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: HTML message, links, and weird scroll effects
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x
Description:
Description of Problem:
Since 2.4 I'm observing the following behavior: when opening an HTML
messge and clicking on a link in the message body, Evo scrolls down to
the bottom of the message text. I'd expect to stay on the same line.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open HTML message
2. click on a link in the message body
3. watch Evo scrolling down all the way

Actual Results:
I got to scroll back manually to where I was reading.

Expected Results:
I'd expect Evo to leave the text position alone and don't scroll.

How often does this happen?
Always

hi tom,
thanks for reporting.
