If you rename a file in a folder where the name column is too wide then nautilus will scroll right until the right end of the name column apperars. This is very annoying if you have a folder with long filenames, because you don't see what you are typing.

To reproduce this you just have to open a nautilus window, switch to list view, resize the name column to a width that is 2 times bigger than your nautilus window , select a file and press F2.
