Confirming, GtkHTML 3.10.0.

I believe, this worked correctly in previous versions (3.8.x).

Correcting Produkt, the Composer is GtkHTML, not Evolution/Mailer.

I dont think it has anything to do with evolution. may be libbonoboui

Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2007-06-28 18:06:18 UTC
The "test_editor" test program in GtkHTML displays the hidden toolbar buttons correctly, so I'm not so sure this is a GtkHTML bug. One thing that bug #451285 pointed out was that it works correctly when composing a reply, but not when forwarding or composing a new message. Maybe this _is_ an Evolution bug after all, or perhaps something screwy in libbonoboui like Srini suggested.

Still an issue using GNOME 2.21, ubuntu bug about that on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/181577
Comment 7 Matthew Barnes 2008-01-10 00:25:05 UTC
This will be fixed when the new composer hits trunk, but not before 2.22.
Comment 8 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 01:05:56 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 9 Matthew Barnes 2008-06-22 22:14:33 UTC
Closing. Works correctly with the new composer in 2.23.
