Description Johnny Proton 2005-12-26 22:28:55 UTC
Evolution's display of HTML and Text emails leaves a lot to be desired.

1. HTML Mail display is not as advanced as it is in Mozilla. It doesn't appear
to display CSS styles and specified font faces and sizes don't always look write.
2. The composer seems to compose all my emails in a different font than the way
it displays them to me. If I compose an HTML (or text) email and then send it
to me, generally the version I receive looks a lot better than as I am composing it.

Other information:
This seems to be something to do with Evo being built around GtkHTML. I think
it would be a lot better if this program used Gecko instead.

I don't think this would be a problem because Epiphany is one of the Gnome
Platform programs and it requires Mozilla already. Therefore, we're not
introducing more dependency complexity to the equation.
