All Gnumeric page setup specifications don't seem to follow a change in printer
device.  Specifically, the left margin setting is ignored, if the printer is
changed.  I changed the default printer for the system to the printer I wish to
use, but Gnumeric still defaults to the original default printer. Gnumeric does
respect the page setup setting for print scale.

This is a known gnome-print bug.
