Please describe the problem:
When you receive a message with hyperlinks (both HTML or plain text email),
clicking on the link scroll the message to the bottom.

It's very very annoying

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a mail
2. Click on a link
3. Oooh ! I'm at the bottom of the mail...


Actual results:


Expected results:


Does this happen every time?
YES !!

Other information:
Both tested on Hoary with Evo 2.2 and on another computer with the fresh new
Breezy with evo 2.4

do you have "view | cursor mode (F7)" (formerly called "caret mode") enabled?
probably it's a duplicate of bug 272708?
