Description Poornima 2005-08-20 06:07:19 UTC
'Subscribe to other users folder' & 'Permissions' should be disabled when
exchange connector is not installed
Comment 1 Sarfraaz Ahmed 2005-08-25 18:39:05 UTC
Not sure if the current UI for menus even allows this though. Moving to 2.5 anyway.
Comment 2 shakti 2005-10-07 10:54:58 UTC
Not possible with the current design. We have to find out a way to do this.
Comment 3 Sushma Rai 2006-01-02 07:46:26 UTC
Groupwise shared folder functionality aslo work the same way i guess.
Not connector specific bug.
Comment 4 spark 2006-02-14 16:27:43 UTC
These entries should really be disabled when any non-Exchange (or Groupwise) account is active (i.e. i'm currently viewing my IMAP account).
Comment 5 Sankar P 2007-02-26 11:46:22 UTC
This is connector-specific. GroupWise shared-folders will in no way affect IMAP folders list.
Comment 6 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:25:15 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 7 André Klapper 2009-08-09 14:50:25 UTC
1. Don't have an Exchange or Groupwise account enabled.
2. Click "File > Subscribe to Other User's Folder"

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Feedback. Some kind of. Like "Only available if a $blah account exists" or
whatever.
Delegate an error messages. Whatever.
Or hide if no account defined.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Nothing happens. Confusing to average user clicking on every funny option.

Didn't we also hide the Send Options menu entry in such cases?
Just reuse that code. :-P

Comment 10 Bharath Acharya 2010-03-25 05:04:33 UTC
This was fixed by Matthew as part of kill-bonobo awesomeness. Marking it fixed against 2.30.x

Behavior in 2.30.x:
No Exchange account, no "Subscribe to Other User's Folder" and "Permissions" options.
