Hi,

I can confirm this problem. gftp in all distributions I have can't convert encoding of the file names (windows-1250) to gtk encoding (UTF-8):

Error converting string 'CWD
' from character set <unknown> to character set UTF-8: Invalid byte sequence in conversion input

And binary gftp-gtk isn't linked against iconv. Is it OK?

Cheers,
  František
